Description: Cobalt Construction was hired by Kiewit to perform the bulk excavation for the Mayo B Hydroelectric project for Yukon Energy. Cobalt worked with Kiewit, the Na-Cho Nyak Dun First Nation, to complete the bulk excavation work on budget and on time. The success of the project more than doubled the amount of energy generated from the Mayo River.
